ZOO

The grandchildren are up and we went to the zoo the first day.  HOT, HOT, HOT!  I gave us a two hour window to view what animals we could and then we had lunch and then we went to see "Diary of a Wimpy Kid Dog Days.  It was the first day out and very funny.  I am going to attempt to post a video of an orangatan keeping cool.  I hope it works.  Please ignore the voices.  Two ladies next to me were talking and actually I spoke a bit also.

VARIOUS

I had a previous unpublished post.  I will add that to this.  The beginning of August, the grandkids and granddogs were here for about 5 days.  It was fabulous.  We went to the zoo.  I had a video to post but it never would upload so that is why there never was a post.  We had great fun while they were here.  I was sorry to see them go.  I wish they lived a bit closer so I could see them about once a week and not have to carve out almost an entire day to do so.  I have been down twice since then to see them.  I went down the 18th to see my grandson's football game.  It was the first game of the season and they won.  The score was 36-0.  This past week, they also won 30-0.  I also went down this past Thursday.  School does not start for them until after Labor Day so I figured there were only around two weeks left to see them.  This week is the county fair and even though I am playing golf in the morning, I am planning on going down after to watch the "rabbit wrangler" as JR calls him do his stuff.  After that I will have to see them on the weekends at their games.  I hate that I can't see them more.  Maybe we will do skype again.  We tried it a few years ago.
