IN LIKE A LION

Well March has certainly not started well. We received about 3-4 inches of snow last night and the below freezing temperatures will continue until at least the end of the week. I am definetly getting my money's worth from my winter clothes this year. Last weekend we hosted a euchre group and so I spent Saturday cleaning, cooking and doing laundry. Sunday we drove down to the kids so we could celebrate our daughter-in-law's 40th birthday. I miss them and I miss the laughter that comes with being with them. It was so great to see them. Our grandson is now taller that I am. Yikes! We took Jules out to lunch as I thought it tacky if we expected her to cook!!!! Work during March settles down somewhat. The brokerage statements are just about out and so those filers will be soon coming in. I am taking the next three Wednesdays off. I will still work a few Saturdays but still I need the occasional whole day off. It is good for my brain. In a few weeks we will be back down "south" to celebrate our son's birthday. Then two weeks later we will celebrate our granddaughter's birthday. I am doing the obligitory household chores today - laundry, changing the beds, etc. Around 5 we will go over to friends' house and watch "Downton Abbey". They buy the DVD and we watch it that way.
