I though that would share a small slice of fall. I cannot believe that it has been 3 weeks since my last posting. The time seems to fly by and the days are pretty much same old same old. Last Wednesday I was down in G-town for 2nd grade Grandparents Day. It is a long day for such a short amount of time. Between the end of the Grandparent hour and the end of school, I had about 3 hours to kill. I went to the Dollar General and picked up a few things (tiny dog biscuits for Finn) and then went to the house. I found that my son had taken a half day sick day and was home. It was nice to have some time with him although he did not feel great so conversation was minimal. This past weekend we skipped going back down for the football playoff (even though it ended up the last game that dads would be the coaches) and went to a trivia night instead. It really was a lot of fun and we ended up second. I am always amazed by what I do not know but also by what answers I can come up with. The weather this week is supposed to be really nice on Wednesday and Thursday so hopefully I can get some golf in.
